This page contains the complete Playboy Collection Database. The database listed every US published Playboy magazine. The figure below shows the structure of the database and its structure described in the following text.

NOTE: This pdf file was generated from Excel. The actual Excel Data Base is provided with the collection.

Each magazine is a row in the datasheet. The magazines are grouped by decade from the 1950’s to 2020. The data for each magazine (Row) in the database contains:

• A unique number (1 to 769)
• It's Year and month
• It's box location (C-1 to C-29)
• A quality assessment using 3 different source definitions
• A value assessment using 3 of 4 different price sources; depending on year on the magazines
• The average of the value assessments
• The values selected for the magazine in the collection (the average of the price sources

Additionally, each decade contains:

• The decade value total
• Cumulative value total
• Number of magazines in the decade in upper tier quality definition categories
